Position Title:	Ministry Support Specialist

Position Summary:

Saint Peter’s House of Prayer Baptist Church (SPHPBC) position of Ministry Support Specialist – Pastor’s wife and First Lady, reports directly to God. Her responsibilities include becoming one-flesh with the Pastor, being a wife to her husband, , laying down her “normal life” at the Alter; prayerfully keeping her husband’s long hours, shouldering his pressures, feeling his disappointments and suffering  his defeats, and  rejoicing in his victories and accomplishments. She is often the Pastor’s chief analyst of both his sermons and administrative innovations. She is expected to catch his grammatical errors while sniffing out inconsistencies in the Pastor’s letter writing. As the Ministry Support Specialist, she may be called upon to befriend that church member that everyone else has chosen to avoid, comfort the broken hearted, encourage the bewildered, and defend the defenseless against “churchianity”.  The Ministry Support Specialist, Pastor’s Wife, First Lady is that single agent God has appointed to accurately evaluate her husband from God’s perspective.

Experience: Required: First and foremost, Love for God; secondly,  Love for her husband and family, and, thirdly, Love for her church and humanity.

Education: Required: Study to show thyself approved unto God; a workman that needeth not be ashamed but rightly divide the word of truth.

Working Conditions and Environment:

Work is routinely performed in a typical interior/office environment, but is not limited to hostile territory involving satanic attacks against the body of Christ. The Ministry Support Specialist is, therefore, licensed to carry a concealed weapon – the word of God; for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds (II Corinthians 10:14).  We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, she puts on the whole armor of God…. (Ephesians 6:11).
